Monday's Scholars' Assembly recognised the outstanding achievements of our top scholars in NZ Scholarship and Cambridge International in 2024.
Eleven Cambridge Learner Awards have been earned by Avondale College students, and these will be presented on Thursday evening at the official Cambridge awards event. We look forward to sharing more details of these with our school community on Friday!
The Scholars Assembly also honoured those who received NZ Scholarship awards as well as the teachers, parents and caregivers who supported students in achieving this success.
Additionally, nine teachers were recognised for excellence in teaching. Congratulations to Miss Miller (Geography), Mr Moriarty (Japanese), Ms Hundley (English), Ms Medland (English), Dr Longmuir (English), Mrs Nicholson (Technology), Mr Prasad (Technology), Ms Alai (Technology), Mrs Delaney (Art).
